§ 141-1. Numbering required.

The houses, stores and other buildings being or fronting on any of the public streets or alleys of the Borough shall be numbered in the manner hereinafter provided, and the owner or owners thereof shall be required to place numbers plainly faced upon the front of any such house, store or other building. The numbers shall be plain and distinct and shall be of figures at least three inches in height, to be securely fastened to the door frame or on the transoms over the door or on the front of the building in such a manner as to be easily seen from the adjoining public street or alley.
