§ 300-1. Definitions.

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
- PARKS
- All areas under the ownership of the Borough of Walnutport that are or have been made available to the public, for their recreation and pleasure; whether or not such properties have been leased, rented or sublet to any organization or group of individuals for the purpose of developing programs for recreation. The areas defined herein shall include, but not be limited to the following areas:
- A. WALNUTPORT PLAYGROUNDThat rectangular plot of ground bordered on the west by Lincoln Avenue, on the south by Northern Lehigh School District on the east by Walnutport Shopping Center and on the north by property presently owned by Samuel and Roslyn M. Earnst;
- B. WALNUTPORT CANALThe canal, formerly known as the Lehigh Coal and Navigation Canal, extending along the western border of the Borough of Walnutport;
- C. WAR VETERANS MEMORIAL PLOTThe triangular plot of land situated between Fourth Street and Fifth Street and between Washington Street and Washington Street extension. This article does not apply to any structures or parking areas used by the Diamond Fire Company.
