§ 300-2. Use of motor vehicles.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person at any time to drive or operate any motor-driven vehicle, including but not limited to, automobiles, motorcycles, motor scooters, tractors, trucks or any motor-driven or assisted vehicle upon any of the areas defined in § 300-1 of this article as "Parks" areas. Exceptions to the above prohibition to the use of motor-driven vehicles are:
    A. 
    The employment of motor vehicles on these areas for the maintenance and repair of the parks;
    B. 
    The use of emergency vehicles responding to emergencies affecting the life and health of any citizens;
    C. 
    Those vehicles used by the fish and game commission for the servicing of the fish population of the canal; and
    D. 
    The parking or driving of motor vehicles upon parks areas during "special events," which events shall be specifically designated by the Mayor.
