§ 425-19. Loading and unloading zones.

A.Establishment of ten-minute loading/unloading zones.(1)There shall be a ten-minute loading and unloading zone on the north side of Main Street beginning 32 feet east of the intersection of Main Street and Canal Street and continuing for 20 feet.(2)Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation violating this subsection shall, upon conviction thereof before a Magisterial District Judge, be liable to pay a fine of not more than $300 together with costs of the prosecution for each offense and, in default of payment thereof, shall be sentenced to undergo imprisonment for a period not to exceed 10 days.B.Establishment of fifteen-minute loading/unloading zones.[Added 7-6-2017 by Ord. No. 2017-06](1)Two fifteen-minute loading zone parking spaces are hereby created on the west side of Railroad Street. The parking spaces shall begin at the northerly edge of the driveway for 27 Main Street, running north to the intersection of Railroad Street and Bakers Alley. The loading zone shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The Borough shall erect the appropriate fifteen-minute loading zone parking signs.(2)Any person convicted of violating this subsection shall be sentences to pay a fine in accordance with the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code.
