§ 300-14. Special event permit.

Any person, organization or entity who wishes to camp on Borough property may make a request to Borough Council at a public meeting at least 30 days prior to the proposed activity. If Borough Council, by majority vote, deems that it is appropriate to allow camping for the special event, the Borough may grant a permit, upon assurance from the requesting entity, that it has appropriate insurance and any and all other necessary documentation to insure an orderly event.

The fee for a special event permit shall be established pursuant to resolution; said fee shall include costs sufficient to cover any cleanup, where applicable.
